《中国国籍法》第三条规定：中国不承认中国公民具有双重国籍。拿到中国绿卡跟加入中国国籍本质上是不一样的。
拿了中国绿卡说明有了中国永久居留权，可以免去入境中国的签证（现在持中国工作居留许可也可以不用其他签证有效期内无限次入境中国，办理工作居留许可18298364353），而且回国籍国也不用签证。
但是入了中国国籍的话，回自己国家是要签证的。
外国人或无国籍人申请加入中国国籍须具备两个前提：
1、申请人须愿意遵守中国宪法和法律；
2、须出于本人自愿。同时必备条件如下：
（1）申请人是中国人的近亲属；
（2）申请人定居在中国；
（3）有其他正当理由。
