1、外籍人才在中国工作的用人单位必须与其工作许可证上所注明的单位相一致。也就是说企业无法将外籍人才派遣、指派到其他单位工作。
2、如果外籍人才在发证机关规定的区域内变更用人单位但仍从事原职业的，应当办理工作许可证变更手续。
3、如果外籍人才离开发证机关规定的区域工作或在规定的区域内变更用人单位且从事不同职业的，则应当重新办理工作许可证。
4、如未按照前述要求进行相关手续办理，则构成非法工作。外籍人才的工作许可证都是存在有效期的，常见的为一年有效期，应在期满前三十日内为被聘用的外国人才办理工作许可证延期手续。逾期未办的，工作许可证自行失效。

If it fails to do so within the time limit, the work permit shall become invalid on its own.
